Pros: Gabriela and Hakon are amazing hosts, they are so warm and everything they make is filled with love and good vibes. The rooms are big and there is enough space to relax in front of the TV, work, rest or swim and relax by the pool. The breakfast is only homemade food and local product and ask them for a three course dinner - it’s to die for. Also they gave us a lot of recommendations within Algarve and the Villa is very well located not very far away from the beaches and everything but also far from tourists and the noise.

Oasis of elegance, charm and peace

Pros: Excellent place to relax, recharge and explore Algarve. Perfect hosts Håkan and Gabriela who made this paradise and well thought details in everything. Breakfast is superb - home made granola, eggs, fresh juice, fruits and other. Intelligent and very charming other guests to chat with. Highly recommended. We will return 100%. M&V

Absolutely excellent, would highly recommend

Pros: What a lovely place . Beautifully decorated and everything done to a very high standard . They had thought of everything . Pool was lovely as was the room and beds were really comfy . Hosts were really lovely people and made us feel instantly welcome. Would highly recommend

Cons: Isn’t a negative just worth knowing that you need a car as it is not near any shops or restaurants. The hosts provided meals onsite which we had both nights and were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend and hope to return !

Wonderful experience and really relaxing stay

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Tranberg. Gabriela and Hakon were the perfect hosts and made us feel like home away from home. The daily breakfast in the garden with a breathtaking view and selfmade jams, granola, yogurt, eggs from their own chicken and (not to forget) Hakon‘s selfmade sourdough bread was one of our highlights. Booking one of their suites was definitely the right decision and we can highly recommend it! Get lost in some conversations with them both as they have super interesting stories to share. Thanks for everything! :)

Far exceeded our expectations

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The hosts were incredibly attentive and provided great recommendations for tours and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained the property was — recently renovated, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable, far exceeding our expectations. The room includes a sitting area and a balcony, and the bathroom is brand new and fully equipped. We truly felt at home. The location is peaceful, quiet, well air-conditioned, and just a short drive from the main points of interest.

Pros: It was a very pleasant stay, we stayed four nights. The rooms are very large and comfortable as is the entire accommodation. The breakfast under the patio is rich and very good: from yoghurt to bread from jam to sweets all homemade! The pool and the garden complete the picture of an absolutely relaxing and very pleasant place. Our guests were also always very kind and helpful. The perfect relaxation and an excellent base for exploring the Algarve.

High quality accomadation and food in a beautiful area of the Algarve.

Pros: The breakfasts were amazingly good with home made and high quality bread and jam, yoghurt and granola and fresh eggs from their own hens and a different pastry or cake every day with a large pot of coffee and tea. This was presented on an array of delicate patterned china that must have taken years to accumulate. It was also accompanied by very friendly chats with the husband and wife hosts who gave good advice on where to eat in the evening and where to find good walks. The flat itself was spacious and comfortable with a huge television for the evenings and a balcony to look out over the beautiful garden and countryside views during the day. We enjoyed a swim in the heated pool although the weather wasn’t as hot as we had hoped so we only used it once. Inside we went for a long walk along the coastal path, walked by the castle at Paderne to a river in the valley and visited the ancient town of Silves.

Wonderful B&B in a tranquil location

Pros: The hosts are so welcoming & super friendly! Don’t miss dinner cooked by Gabriela - the food is wonderful, as are the breakfasts. The garden is a beautiful place to relax in if the weather is good & the suites are comfortable. Mini bar is included!

Cons: Everything was great - one small thing: the shower isn’t super powerful, but good enough.

Being in Villa Tranberg is like being in your old friends home!

Pros: Very varm, friendly and helpful hosts! Excellent breakfast with home made food and etc. We enjoyed our stay there from the first to the last minute!

Wonderful stay at an peaceful oasis with awesome hosts

Pros: We stayed for three nights at Villa Tranberg during our vacation in Portugal. I have to admit I’ve never felt more welcome at a hotel. They have created a wonderful oasis to relax and to really feel at home during holidays. Each day Gabriela made us the most delicious breakfast with everything you could wish for. Most of the things were homemade. The rooms are as clean as it possibly can be. Gabriela and Hakon are interested in you as a person they do everything you can wish for and give you space. This is the perfect stay and we would always come back just to stay the entire time at the villa.
