Villa Jumar

Pros: Great location, close to all amenities. Lovely outdoor space, with a great pool. Plenty of space in the Villa for all of us.

Cons: Kitchen a little dated, and would benefit from a refurb.

1 week stay

Pros: Beautiful villa with plenty of space for a group of 7 adults. The pool was excellent and the location was convenient for both the Maina and the Old Town, about a 15 minute walk to each. Overall we thought it was good value for money. Communication with the local owners was also very good.

Pros: the property was only a 40 minute transfer from Faro airport. it was a short walk to Albuferia marina and cost roughly €4 to get into the centre of Albufeira (you could walk this but we didn’t due to having small children with us). there was restaurants and a shop within walking distance. check in was very easy , the communication with dream places was very good. The swimming pool was fantastic.

Cons: the property was dated and there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms upon arrival. we didn’t need to use the basement level bedroom but agree with other reviews it did smell damp down there.

Excellent

Pros: It was clean, plenty of room,loads of space so the group was not cramped. It was lovely to be able to sit outside or inside all together. The pool was excellent.

Cons: Nothing really. Suggestions would be. Plug in kitchen sink and holders for the shower heads

Pros: The house has lots of space and separate living areas which was great to relax and enjoy as a group. The house has all appliances you could require and all in great working order.

Good location for the Marina and Old Town

Pros: The locationis s good. Villa is clean and spacious. Gardens are lovely. Pool is a nice size.

Cons: Would have been nicer if the pool was heated. The place needs a bit of TLC, there were no shower holders in the upstairs bathrooms. The veranda overlooking the pool could be covered to avoid rain.

Wonderful holiday with our family

Pros: Very spacious, we loved the pool, gardens and pool table. Different areas to eat out. Excellent washing machine, cooker and fridge. Good access to old town and marina but hilly!

Cons: Lack of coat hangers

Pros: We loved the pool area and the exterior including the BBQ and lovely flowers.

Cons: The interior is a little old fashioned but it was a very nice villa overall.

Pros: The location is great to access the marina and old Albufeira

Cons: Smelled pretty musty in the basement.

I would recommend this house to anyone travelling with a large group. The house and views were outstanding.

Pros: The facility was very spacious, clean and beautiful views. We had tons of space for our group of nine people, and we loved the outdoor space for cooking our own meals. We will definitely come back next time.

Cons: We found it inconvenient that there was no hand soap, dish soap, paper, towel, salt, and pepper, extra toilet paper or extra towels available. We made the trip to the grocery store down the road, but it would’ve been nice to have those basic amenities supplied.
