Vila Sao Vicente Boutique (Adults Only)

Great location for a last minute trip.

Pros: Location with the ocean view was great. I had to change my dates and the staff were very accommodating.

Cons: Would have liked coffee in the room.

Lovely breakfasts, great location and the decks and pool were beautiful

Pros: The location was great, very close to Old Town. Lovely pool and two patio decks! Breakfast was amazing and the two ladies serving were exceptional and very accommodating. The night staff were also very helpful

Cons: The bathroom could definitely do with lighting. So dull and very dim. Other than that our stay was very lovely.

Great hotel in fabulous location with friendly staff!

Pros: Firstly, the best thing about our stay was Juan, who was on reception for most of our stay. He was super friendly, very efficient and really helpful. We enjoyed our room, which was a lower ground floor room and whilst we had no outside space or balcony (in accordance with our reservation) it was very roomy and comfortable. The view from the communal terrace area was beautiful. The hotel is well located, walking distance from everything but in a quiet area.

Cons: There wasn't really anything we 'didn't like', we were very satisfied, but for the sake of constructive criticism: 1. I'm not sure why you can't buy a drink at the bar with a credit/debit card, or add it to your room - and sit on the shared terrace? They only took cash and who has cash these days? Also, we were not allowed to drink our own wine on the terrace, which would have been fine if we could buy a drink! 2. They cleaned our room so late in the day most days that we either had come back from a day out and didn't want to be disturbed or we had to leave again to allow them to clean! One time we left our 'please clean our room' sign out in the hope that they would clean earlier and it was turned around someone to say 'do not disturb' so it still wasn't cleaned. We asked for an earlier clean, but it depended on who was checking out etc so earlier didn't happen. Not a problem I have ever had in a hotel before. Not the end of the world, but it was mildly annoying.

Loved it, will deffo be back.

Pros: Pool and pool deck were amazing, lovely and quiet and plenty of shade if it got too warm.

Cons: The lift appears to be out of order for most of the season, whilst it didn't bother us, it caused problems for some of the other older guests.

Good Hotel

Pros: Nice small hotel, close to the main square of the old town. Although close to the square, no noise could be heard from it. Room compact but large enough - had one of the best showers I've had. Good sunbathing area with small pool. Breakfast is 'continental' but just enough.

Cons: Bed very hard and borderline uncomfortable. Also seemed to have a plastic protective cover - found it strange. €200 \

Had a great time here, friendly staff, great location and views

Pros: Excellent location, 5 minutes from the centre of old town & 5 mins from the beach. Quite location, hotel has the sun all day and great views of the beach, plenty of hot water for the shower.

Cons: Breakfast area is a little small and congested t peak times only one coffee machine so expect a queue

Really nice quiet location but easy to walk around the old town which can be noisy!

Pros: The breakfast was simple but very fresh and well presented. Replenished regularly. Nice coffee and breads/ croissants

Location, location, location

Pros: Excellent location very close to beach and all bars, restaurants and shops. Small hotel but room was clean and lots of storage space. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Pool was amazing overlooking the beach

Pros: Very friendly staff. Everything was clean and tidy. Pool great, plenty of loungers. Location brilliant. We had a room with balcony overlooking the beach the rooms at the front of the hotel looked onto a derelict building and were dark so definitely worth paying a bit more

Vila Sao Vicente Boutique Hotel Experience.

Pros: The staff were all, without exception, very kind, helpful, considerate, and friendly. The location was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with excellent views. The air conditioning was great. The experience as a whole was unbeatable.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Perhaps consider providing larger coffee and tea cups?
