Cons: A bit of maintenance on the apartment would have been welcome - the cupboards in the kitchen and the showers.

Everthing was so well considered. Welcome pack was very generous for a late check in. The bedding and linens were luxuri

Pros: This property is beautiful and perfectly located for a stay in the heart of Faro. The layout is cosy and elegantly designed. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and so comfortable.

Pros: Lots of room across 3 floors - the top floor has a brilliant balcony. Basic food items like bread, butter, cheese, milk and a range of teas were waiting for us when we arrived which was unexpected and a great touch.

Pros: Spacious, bright, clean and well equipped house. We had everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, lovely new linen and towels. Quiet street with the gentle sound of the local church bell. The location is great, easy walking distance to the supermarket, train and bus stations, marina and old town. Close to lots of restaurants and shops in beautiful Faro. Water is reliably hot and Aircon efficient in each room. WiFi was reliable throughout. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The house is adjacent, at the back, and overlooks a commercial yard. Although unsightly there was absolutely no disturbance from it. The shower and bath are awkward and dated. Lack of ventilation in those two rooms means there is some mold on tile grouting but both rooms were otherwise very clean.

Lovely host and great value for money!

Pros: Fernanda was so accommodating and friendly with the best recommendations and tips for us! There were a few breakfast items for us too so we didn’t have to rush straight to the shops. The location is downtown and super close to everything but isn’t noisy! There was also a nice terrace and patio for us to chill out at. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend!

Cons: There is a church close by with a bell which also is active at night and early in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper, it could be disturbing for some

Perfect for what we needed

Pros: Perfect house for a small group, split over several floors so enough room to spread out. Excellent communication with the host. Super functional for our requirements. Some helpful essential items left for us on arrival, milk, eggs, fruit juice was a nice touch.

Cons: The barrel in the door lock is a little worn, so definitely a nack to opening smoothly with the key, but no big deal. Location, although an easy enough distance down to the Marina area, it was a little residential and not an aesthetic street compared to say the Marina area or Old town.

Beautiful house for a peaceful stay in Faro

Pros: Lovely house in a peaceful area within easy walking distance of the town centre, marina and all the sights. We loved the balcony and terrace for sitting outside. The bedrooms and living areas were comfortable ahd we really appreciated the food supplies in the kitchen.

Cons: All was good!
