The Old Town House by Freetimealgarve

It was a lovely couple of weeks.

Pros: The house was very central, only 5-10 minutes walk from everything. The house was amazingly well equipped, for example there were at least 5 different coffee machines! The house was on a fairly quiet road, not much traffic. There were several restaurants within a hundred metres.

Cons: Nothing at all

I loved it! Do not look further! This accommodation is perfect!

Pros: I love the location! It is in the centre of Faro! Every time we would order the Uber, it would come in a minute or two. When I saw the shelves with the coffee, sugar and coffee machine, I made my decidion to book it! You have everything; oil, vinegard, umbrellas, sun umbrellas, sun creams, Play Station Fifa 20you litterally have EVRYTHING in the house❤️The house is clean and well equipped. I was with 3 kids (15,11 and 6). If you are looking for accommodation in Faro, this is perfect for you.

Cons: I liked everything! Only thing is, if you are with small kids, babies, the toilet is only on the ground. There is no toilet on the first floor where the bedrooms are.

Pros: Great house, walking distance to everywhere and on a nice quiet street. Great little pastry shop right next door and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops close by. The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, including a variety of ways to make coffee. Couldn't think of anything else the place needs. Modern bathroom and kitchen, all top class. Bedrooms very comfortable and clean. Roof terrace is the highlight , spent quite a bit of time up there (especially the evenings when it cooled down a bit). Paulo met us on arrival and gave us the tour and a bit of info on the areas of the city, ferry's to the beach etc. Also booked us an airport transfer as we were departing in the middle of the night and didn't want to be running around looking for a taxi. Definitely a home away from home and if available next time we visit we will book again. Have already recommended to family and friends

Perfect base in Faro

Pros: Perfect location for exploring Faro - everything is just a short walk away. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and really does have everything you could possibly need - great for longer stays or families with young children. Paulo met us on arrival to show us around and we felt confident that he would be available if there was any problem (of course there wasn’t!). He also organised transfers for us and everything ran smoothly. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Faro, don’t hesitate to book here!

Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect.

Pros: Perfectly located - the town square and marina are a 8-10 min walk , the town house has everything you will need , the owners have thought about everything , a lot of nice little touches makes for a perfect stay ❤️

Cons: Being an older couple the stairs and downstairs loo, but 10 years ago it wouldn't have bothered us, I'm 80😃

Pros: Excellent quiet location with many restaurants etc within five minute walk and only ten to the harbour. Frankly there was no need to take anything with us, as there was everything from fully equipped kitchen, sun lotions, tea/coffee, butter and milk in the fridge, herbs, olive oil, toothpaste, wine and crisps. Amazing roof terrace, which we used all day and evenings.

Cons: Accommodation on three floors, so lots of stairs. Unfortunately, bathroom on the ground floor, but excellent lighting if needed in the middle of the night !

Fabulous stay at a lovely property in a fantastic location with amazing hosts.

Pros: We loved our stay at The Old Town House. Paulo and Francesco were fantastic hosts, so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. They definitely went above and beyond and we were very grateful. The house is so lovely and has everything you could possibly want and so much more, including the fabulous roof terrace. It is in a perfect quiet location but so close to the shops, restaurant and marina. I wished we could stay longer.

Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

A fantastic place to stay for local restaurants, etc., and for bus and train services.

Pros: One of the owners met us with the keys; both owners are wonderful hosts and very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace was amazing, and every facility was contained in the property. This was the second time staying here.

Cons: Nothing.
