Centralgarve - Beachfront with Pool Penthouse

A great apartment with fantastic views, within easy reach of bars/restaurants and helpful owners.

Pros: Based towards the end of Quarteria, but within walking distance to bars and restaurants, it was in a quiet area with fantastic sea views and easy access to the beach. The apartment was well equipped, with great decor and plenty of space. The roof area and sea-facing balcony was a bonus.

Cons: My mistake as I probably didn't read the info properly, I thought there were two bathrooms, which meant two showers. But there was only one shower. Not a problem, but worth pointing out. The lift can be a bit noisy, but it is generally quiet during sleeping hours, so all good.

All in all a very enjoyable stay and superb apartment and location

Pros: The property was fully equipped with everything you would need and more. Nothing was lacking. The location was excellent being close to the beach and shops / restaurants. Apartment felt spacious and very secure / safe with fob key entry required. There is an excellent roof top terrace that offers views of the sea with amazing panoramas at sunrise and sunset. All rooms air conditioned and electric black out shutters which helped with a perfect nights sleep. The apartment feels very spacious and the kitchen is of a very high standard and fully equipped. Carolina the local contact is superb and professional. She is always at hand should you need her.

Cons: 10/10 for property - only gave a 9/10 due to some negatives which are out of the responsibility of the owners and relates more to the complex itself. The negatives were : small pool which needs more updating and more sun loungers. Noisy lift shaft. Finally some other residents own dogs which can be obtrusive with barking when around the pool. Admittedly could not be heard from the room. This doesn’t deflect from our experience and the owners / Carolina’s fantastic accommodation.

Nice place for short stay but needs a bit of attention.

Pros: Nice modern apartment in a great location, lovely terrace. Hosts were helpful and brought more towels when we needed them.

Cons: I wouldn’t class it as luxury - it’s nice but not luxury. Advertised as aircon, but there was only aircon in the living room- fans in the bedroom- very warm. Shower trickled. No bedroom mirror/bin. Bunk beds blocking wardrobe. Four people staying but only one sunlounger.

Pros: Das Apartment ist sehr toll gestaltet. Die Aussicht auf den Strand ist einfach traumhaft. Personal war stets hilfsbereit und freundlich, alle unsere Anfragen wurden zufrieden gestellt! Wir können nur weiter empfehlen!
