Miral 2 - Beach front apartment with pool

You can’t go wrong with Quarteira

Pros: The location is the highlight. Right beside the beach, very close to the airport and short distance from A22 motorway.

Cons: Very little cleaning products, no way to keep the kitchen clean or tidy up after ourselves. Had to go get our own bits

Pros: The location was fantastic Loved the ground floor apartment and the accessibility to the pool area Host really responsive

Cons: Floors were not clean Could be made to feel much more homely with pictures etc - it was rather bare

Wonderful flat for family holidays

Pros: My family and I had a lovely time at Quarteira. The flat is amazing, spacious, and extremely well located. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped.

Cons: This is more a suggestion than a dislike: The kitchen could have some basic utensils like a hand blender and some tupperwares to store food. As I travelled with my 4 yo we were cooking every day, and it would have been nice to have these, which we ended up buying ourselves. The pillows could also be a bit better quality.

Pros: The apartment was perfect very comfortable and had every thing we needed. We were delighted to be able to check in early as we arrived on an early flight.

Cons: No beach view, but that's a small thing considering how close the beach is.

Good but let down by issues that could easily be fixed

Pros: Great location on the boardwalk and a stone's throw from the beach and shops, mini markets, bakeries, bars, etc. Excellent clean pool Secure, spacious and well equipped for the most part. Private underground car park. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the accommodation is being let down by issues that could easily be addressed and have been highlighted by other reviewers.

Cons: Wifi was unusable my entire stay (either no internet or so slow as to be useless), was not addressed or fixed despite raising the issue with the management company multiple times, not acceptable for the price being paid. Spotted a large cockroach in the kitchen on the first night, maintenance sent somebody around to spray and found it dead the next day along with a bunch of ants swarming around it but also seen other small ones in the cupboards so the entire kitchen needs to be properly decontaminated/treated. When checking in, the rep said there was no private parking despite me insisting it was included and showing him the booking.com itinerary, finally he rang someone and figured out it was and showed me how to access but I shouldn't need to do that. Coffee pod maker didn't work properly, needs to be fixed or replaced. Bathroom fixings in poor shape, shower door kept falling off, cheap and broken roll holders, etc.
