Villa Fonte Santa

Pros: Location. Size of the rooms. The swimming pool is huge, deep, and has a sliding canopy that closes it in completely. It acts as a greenhouse and keeps the water the perfect temperature. Dring use, we opened it up. The garden is huge. Huge outside dining area that's under cover and got a BBQ, sink, and worktop area for food preparation. Our towels and bedding were changed halfway through our stay. Marta was brilliant! She gave clear instructions on what documentation was required prior to our arrival and helped during our stay. It was stress free and really appreciated.

Cons: Ants! But this is a generic issue for all of Portugal during the summer months. You can't leave any food out for any length of time as they appear from everywhere. We informed the letting agent and they were straight over with some ant killer products. Top service from Marta so a big thank you to her for her prompt action. We kept all the food in the fridge and kept the worktops clean and tidy and had no issues from there on.

Beautiful Villa in a excellent location and Friendly hosts.

Pros: Villa and grounds were beautiful. Location was excellent for trips to locations in the Algarve and was close enough to Vale Do Lobo for our golf days! Rooms were very spacious and well maintained, bedding was clean and fresh. Marta was very helpful in the lead up and Saule was very helpful and attentive on arrival! Pool cover was excellent on the windy afternoons and the kitchen was well fitted out for our stay!

Cons: Personal preference was that the mattress in the master bedroom was too hard, this is however a personal thing and appreciate you can't suit everyone! The pool wasn't as clean as the pictures show which was a little disappointing. The only real concern we had is that whilst myself and the other Men were off at golf the Pool Cleaner and Gardner let themselves into the property without any prior warning to myself, this scared my partner and mother. The Pool Cleaner proceeded to open the pool without any conversation and started cleaning it while people were in it! The hosts later apologised which was appreciated but it did cause a few concerns when it happened.

Pros: We rented the property for our daughter’s wedding and we were delighted with it. It is very well maintained with spacious rooms and beautiful gardens, (great for bridal photos) and a swimming pool suitable for adults and children. Staff were friendly, professional and customer focused. They made us feel very welcome.

Cons: Everything matched or exceeded our expectations

Pros: Good location, within walking distance of Lidl and short drive to Aquashow park or Quarteira beach. Villa managers kept regular contact and visited a few times to see if we needed anything. Taxi firm recommended by Villa managers were excellent, all drivers were punctual and very friendly.

Cons: Not directly related to the Villa itself, but the area had more than a few stray cats.

Une superbe location.

Pros: Séjour exceptionnel dans une villa immense extrêmement agréable avec ses vastes pièces. Une super piscine couverte aux dimensions hors normes et un vaste terrain où la calme permet le repos et le farniente. Attention cependant, Booking situe mal, dans son annonce, la localisation de la villa qui se trouve à quelques centaines de mètres de là. Cependant tout le reste est exact.
