Old Charming House Faro

Pros: Easy to access, straightforward instructions, house was very peaceful homely and comfortable. The room was much larger than I had expected, plenty of space and storage. Super comfortable bed. The location is perfect, right in the centre of town and fantastic windows that kept all the noise out. The hosts gave very clear instructions to get in the house and were very quick to respond to any questions. Although other people were staying there you wouldn't know as everyone was very respectful of each others space. I would happily stay again on my next visit.

Cons: Little bit stuffy in the room, needed to be well ventilated, but I think it had more to do with the warm weather and Amazing windows that keep out all the street noise but also no ventilation when closed. Don't worry the rooms have fans so I just kept those on to air the room some more.

Pros: The location of this property is excellent! The whole place has a lovely atmosphere. Everything was clean, we felt comfortable and safe. Bonus: The hosts were amazing! They helped me immediately in everything and were kind, responded fast. Great value for money, i do definitely recommend!

Pros: Exceptionally clean, well presented and in a fantastic location. Laura and Ricardo were very prompt with replying to questions, check in and out was easy. The decor was great.

Cons: Only to be aware that due to the old town previously being a marsh - on the high tide you can get a transient slightly muddy smell in the area. This didnt affect our stay.

Pros: Charming House is a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful rooms, shared living room—everything is lovingly decorated. Laura gives you lots of tips and helps wherever she can. The location is also perfect. It's a place where you can feel at home after walking around for hours, spending time at the beach, etc. Simply perfect 🌞!

Pros: The room was very clean and the location is perfect, which we really appreciated

Cons: We occasionally noticed some spiders and ants, sometimes even in our clothes, which was a bit uncomfortable. There was also a noticeable smell from the drains, especially near the toilet area, when we returned to the apartment, since the toilets are located outside the room, it would be more convenient to have a key specifically for them.

Pros: Honestly everything was Perfect! The instruction for the self-check in was very good. The space is huge, everything is super thoughtful and clean.

I enjoyed my stay at Old Charming House, Faro and recommend it.

Pros: Great location, in a lovely old building. Easy communication with the property owners and access to the property. Comfortable, clean, air-conditioned bedroom, with private bathroom, hot water and good water pressure, and large separate lounge area with television and French windows opening onto small wrought iron balcony overlooking the street. An electric kettle is provided, with a couple of teabags. There are restaurants/ cafes nearby for breakfast, which is not available at the property.

Cons: Nothing of note

Nice room in appartement in centre of old town.

Pros: we stayed here for 2 nights in March on arrival in Faro and booked one more night in April before we had to fly back. That says enough, right?! Close to bus-and trainstation. In centre of the old town. Nice spacious room and bathroom.

It was really good experience.
