Fantastic place.

Pros: Incredible place! Made with love and care. Super lovely garden. And a nice swimming pool. Highly recommended! Alex is a fantastic host.

Pros: Alex, the host was very friendly and had tons of useful tips which made the stay more pleasant. We got to see the not to touristic but very beautiful side of the Algarve!

Cons: Better matrasses is a must, but that's just that...

It was very enjoyable, it was an excellent location for access to other places in the Algalve.

Pros: The location was perfect, I was able to drive to four restaurants that were nearby and which were all excellent in their own way. The Wi-Fi was perfect.

Cons: Although we did not need aircon (we were there during June) I wonder whether aircon would be needed/required during the hot time of the year (July and August). It would have been nice to have a Television.

It was lovely and surprising start to our holiday.

Pros: Much nicer than we expected! Alex (our host) lives at the property and was very welcoming and friendly. We didn't arrive from the airport until around 10pm, but he was there to greet us and show us to our lovely room, perched high atop the main building, with its own quite spacious patio/flat roof area outside. Our room (with ensuite shower) was just large enough for the two of us and it was simply and artistically furnished. There were 2 large windows with views over the rooftops down to the sea or to the hills above. The double bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast wasn't included in our booking, but Alex (our host) offered us a very lavish and healthy continental breakfast with homemade jams etc. for an extra €10 or €12 each, which we gladly accepted as the high level patio outside our room is delightful, with many flowering plants and an an arbour. A very pleasant eating area. We really enjoyed our very short stay and would highly recommend Casa da Aldeia.

Cons: Nothing! However, we were lucky with the parking, and it might be trickier when the season is busier. Also there is a long, steep, outside staircase to the room we stayed in, which is a bit of a clamber, but there are other rooms on the ground floor.

Incredible charming place with a fantastic view from the roof.

Pros: Beautiful roof terrace(?) with an astounding view. Alex, the host, is very helpful. We had an astounding breakfast on the roof, with home made youghurt, tsatsiki, jam and marmelade. Toast and scrambled eggs. There’s a tiny pool, and the garden is well maintained and in May, everything is flowering. Absolutely perfect for couples.

Friendly welcoming great recommendation for restaurants in the area and very clean and neat property

Pros: Very neat and clean property with wonderful terrace to relax on with a view down over Faro City. Very friendly Dutch owners who were quick to reply to all our messages and greet us on arrival to explain everything clearly.

Cons: I’m a fairly big guy so I would have liked longer and wider bed but it was still comfortable and clean. The pretty apartment is just off one of the busier residential streets so you might hear cars/bikes at night if you are a light sleeper. Ear plug were provided free of charge which was a great consideration.

Great place to stay.

Pros: Alex was wonderful, very helpful and informative. The breakfast was amazing, we had enough food for a family and there was only two of us.

Cons: Everything was good.

Pros: The breakfast is fantastic - large selection and wonderful home-made delights! The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable. The accommodation was exceptionally clean.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Beautiful place, the house is very cosy and the garden is so magnificent. Hosts are so nice and full of advices, with a lot of good plans to visit and restaurants addresses.

Die liebevollste Unterkunft an der Algave

Pros: Ganz, ganz liebevolle Unterkunft! Der Innenhof und die Dachterrasse sind wirklich ein Traum gewesen. Alex ist ein super lieber Gastgeber mit wirklich vielen tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Mietauto für die Unterkunft, dafür wird man aber mit einer tollen Aussicht, viel Ruhe und einem einzigartigen Sternenhimmel belohnt! Das Frühstück kann optional dazu gebucht werden, wird direkt auf die Terrasse gebracht und der perfekte Start in den Tag - große Auswahl und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen! Danke, für die schönen Tage bei euch! :)
