Quinta do lago & golf

Pros: We liked the location and shared facilities, pool and.restaurants. The staff were very helpful especially Roger from Australia.

Cons: The villa itself waa very basic. Only one mirror which was in the bathroom. No soap or bin bags. Sockets only on one side of bed. Facilities were 4 star but villa was 3 star.

Hope we can visit again!

Pros: Lovely comfortable property. Located in a very nice golf resort. The apartment is perfectly located very close to pool, Italian restaurant and reception. Massive super king bed - very comfortable. Couch makes a decent sized double bed too.

Pros: We absolutely loved our stay here! the apartment was well situated for what we needed - it had all the facilities required, was very clean, had extremely comfortable beds, a nice little patio area to sit out and have breakfast, had great air conditioning and we were very lucky that the owner Joao was an absolute gent! He checked in on us and was there if we needed anything at all. There is a small supermarket onsite if you need any extra bits, there are pools, nice restaurants, and all the staff are very friendly. Just outside of Vilar Do Golf you also have many other restaurants which are lovely! I would definitely go back again an would also stay here again! It was an absolute pleasure Thank you!

Pros: Great location on a beautiful site. All the amenities were very good.

Cons: Property slightly in need of refurbishing. Definitely needs a new kettle. A mirror in the bedroom and a toaster would be easy additions.

A great weekend getaway apartment.

Pros: Lovely small Appartment with 1 bedroom. Sofa bed in living room. Location and amenities on the resort are outstanding. Beautiful setting with a great pool close by. Ideal for small family get away.

Cons: Slightly outdated and in need of some modernisation. Sofa bed was not very comfortable and made noises with every movement.

Eben ein Golfresort, aber auch ok für Nichtgolfer für ein paar Tage, länger sicher nicht.

Pros: Poolbereich in der Anlage war fein, auch nur 2 Min. zu Fuß entfernt Das Apartment selbst war sauber und modern ausgestattet. Der Eigentümer DIESES Apartments war dann nach unserer Ankunft und Wartezeit auf Schlüssel aber bemüht und nett. Ohne Auto wäre das jedoch alles kaum machbar gewesen. Zum Meer läuft man - wenn man den Weg findet - mind. 1/2 Stunde. Für Golfer jedoch sicher toll!

Cons: Keine Liegestühle für Terrasse bzw. kleinen eigenen Gartenbereich Kein Salz/Pfeffer/Öl/Kaffeekapseln oder ein Teebeutel o.ä., auch nur 1/2 Toilettenpapierrolle im Bad, keine großen Handtücher (mussten wir an der Rezeption mieten), keine Weingläser vorhanden (wo doch Portugal so gute Weine hat), für einen Aufenthalt von nur 3 Nächten ein bisschen unkomfortabel, hat evtl. mit der Putzkolonne zu tun. Die Rezeption hatte 1/2 Stunde lang Probleme, die Buchung nebst eingezogener Gesamtzahlung zuzuordnen bzw. zu finden. Das resorteigene Restaurant ist - wie zu erwarten - recht teuer, das Essen war allenfalls mittelprächtig bzw. den Preis wirklich nicht wert. Es gibt hoffentlich bessere Möglichkeiten außerhalb, die wir wg. schlechten Wetters und nur 2 Abenden vor Ort nicht testen konnten.
