Excellent Location With Everything Needed For A Great Stay In Quarteira

Pros: Great location close to bars, restaurants, beach & bus station. Clean. Nice layout with two bedrooms, sitting area and kitchen with appliances including oven, stove, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toster & fridge. Two balconies. Owners excellent to deal with for property access and in booking us a return shuttle from the airport.

Cons: The property itself is a bit tired and could do with some TLC. Particularly hard to open balcony doors which also don't lock. The shower head height adjuster is broken and held together with a plastic bag. Mould on some shower tiles. Single beds are noisy & uncomfortable. Non-stick pans in kitchen badly gouged and need replacing. Constantly barking dogs on balconies #2 & #4. There were also renovations close by using a jackhammer for a few days which made staying inside unbearable between 0800-1600.

Old but functional

Pros: The location is great, close to the beach, in the nice part of Quarteira. The supermarket and a pharmacy are a 1 minute walk from the apartment. Communication with the owner went well. He provided detailed info for checking in/out. The apartment is rather spacious, and has two terraces.

Cons: The furniture is a bit old, but functional nevertheless. The Internet is not great, and it keeps losing signal when connected from the bedroom. We did see small cockroaches passing by on the floor, from time to time.

Pros: Fantastic location, about a one minute walk to the beautiful beach. Lots of bars, restaurants, shops nearby. The apartment has all the facilities you could need and is comfortable. Communication was great and there was quick response to queries. Would recommend.
