Great stay in Faro

Pros: Superb location, really clean and spacious with everything you need for a stay

Cons: Some noise at night outside, but didn't bother us too much

Great location, spacious apartment we would stay in again

Pros: Location perfect, so near to bars & restaurants, rail & train stations (but not ‘too’ near) and the covered market with Auchan above. We were 5 nights so able to visit Tavira and Albufeira, easy access to beach for a sunny winter walk. The apartment is very spacious and good beds that don’t sag. Kitchen well-equipped. The air-con also delivers heat, which we needed in January. Everything worked perfectly and is exactly as described and shown when booking. Communication with hosts very easy.

Cons: Nothing to dislike about the property. We worried about being above a bar but that was no problem. People just shout when crossing the square so when you go to bed put the outside shutter down and ensure the slide doors are completely locked. The church clock is a little enthusiastic (4 times an hour) but not too early or late - just not great if you are a siesta type. By Day 3 we had completely filtered these noises out.

Pros: A fantastic place with easy access to various places, both for sightseeing and relaxing on the beach. Easy access to the beach by ferry or bus. The apartment is spacious, fully equipped, and clean. The staff is very helpful. Love it. Great for family.

Comfy and great location

Pros: Very central 4min walk to town or train/bus station. Lovely and modern with great views.

Cons: It was a bit noisy at night as it’s over a bar/cafe

Short Faro break

Pros: Lovely apartment. Hairdryer and toiletries provided together with bottles of water in fridge. So near everything. Supermarket at end of block. Would recommend the restaurant called O Castelo. We went 3 times. Reasonable prices and spectacular view over the sea together with a Fado group in the evening who were fab. Lovely man (sorry i didn't ask your name) in the hostel a few minutes away (where we could leave our bags at no cost) who waited with us until our taxi came for the airport. Thank you so much for staying after you had finished work. Really appreciate it.

Pros: We absolutely loved the apt. It was a great size and as well as being spotless clean it had everything we needed. The beds were really comfy too. The host was lovely, and was waiting for us when we arrived. The location was excellent, very central and beside a supermarket.

Cons: The apt block and lobby looked really run down and dated, but once inside the actual apt was gorgeous. We were charged an extra €20 for arriving after 11pm. Despite this I would highly recommend staying here. Great value for money and only 10 mins from Faro airport.

Pros: The apartment was large, exceptionally well-equipped and clean. Convenient location. Would 100% recommend staying if you are a person who sleeps well (more on that below).

Cons: Not for light sleepers - the balcony doors don't block outside noise and the square is very busy during the night.

Nice clean apartment in the centre of town

Pros: Very modern apartment with all the facilities one requires when on holiday from a washing machine to a dishwasher. Nice balcony overlooking the square. Supermarket close by. Parking was easy. It is free from the evening till 9am in the morning and after 1pm Saturday and Sunday. During the day, parking is charged for a small charge. Lift available. Rooms are spacious. Immediate responses to messages.

Cons: It gets a bit noisy outside during the weekends if there are people outside, but that is normal in Mediterranean towns. Common areas outside the flat need refurbishment.

Pros: Väldigt fräsch och fint inredd lägenhet. Bra läge. Mysig liten balkong. Sköna sängar. Fräscht badrum. Bra bekvämligheter. Tillgänglig uthyrare som hjälpte till snabbt när det blev strömavbrott.

Cons: Sur, otrevlig granne som skällde på oss för att vi pratade när vi gick i korridoren klockan elva på förmiddagen när hon ville sova, men det kan ju inte värden påverka.

Pros: Very well equipped. Very comfortable. Great location.

Cons: Parking dificult
