Pros: We were lucky to be allowed to check in earlier than 4pm. Lovely apartment on two levels. Nicely cleaned on arrival. Well furnished with bedroom and bathroom on both floors. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Practical with washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of the property and you get up a beautiful old stone staircase. There are lifts, but they were not working the week we were there. Don't know if they are generally out of order. The stairs are not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The property is centrally located in Faro close to the old town, restaurants and shops. There is a short walk to the train and bus station. Larger supermarket is approx. 1.5 km from the apartment. We have been happy to stay here.

Cons: It is ok to have a deposit, but it should be returned shortly after departure, unless something is broken. I did not get my deposit back until a week after departure. We were sent an email about online check-in several times AFTER we had filled out and sent the form with information. Also several messages that the deposit was being charged to the card. It annoyed me to get these messages when everything was in order. The place for dropping off the garbage is stated incorrectly on the sign in the apartment and the welcome guide. When we asked the staff, we were told a completely different position. The beds were a bit too hard for us and the window in one bedroom could not be opened. Please note that there may be noise from the street, especially in the evening, but also at night, as there is a music club nearby. We were woken up one night by shouting from the street.

Short break with friends Tropical Flavour Apartment

Pros: The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and two nice bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and there was a small but nice patio area. Check in was easy and there was good communication with the staff who were all friendly and professional. It's an easy walk from the apartment to the marina, with plenty of local bars/restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment with all amenities (including hair dryer) in centre of Faro.

Pros: We were met on arrival and handed the keys , went over house rule and check out details explained

Cons: nothing was perfect . Open plan stairs are a little scary if your unsteady on your feet

Pros: It was beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. Nice view and everything is close.

Pros: Everything was very well organized and comfortable. Specifically view from the patio was nice.

Cons: Second bedroom’s bed was on wheels and it was not locked. My friend fell down in the middle of the night. Please do take care of your upcoming guests.

Great!

Pros: Absolutely fabulous apartment with all needs catered. The dishwasher and washing machine a total bonus. Really good communication via WhatsApp. Easy location to walk into the centre of town, the harbour, trains, buses. Plenty of Restaurants nearby. Is a 10-15min taxi/bolt ride to/from airport. Faro beach is a bus ride away, but it is a lovely clean beach with plenty of places to get food and drink. I would definitely book again.

Cons: A €250 deposit for breakages etc is taken at check in which I felt was a bit steep but once there I could understand why they feel have to have something. Nit picking but Skirting needs a little dust/wipe.

You get what you paid for

Pros: Location, two rooms (one upstairs) with separate bathrooms.

Cons: The showers. Too slippery the one upstairs, impossible to move without hitting anything in the process the one on the ground floor.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The apartment itself, the location, the staff. We highly recommend it! We will definitely come back

Fantastic, central location for exploring everything Faro has to offer

Pros: A fantastic apartment with plenty of room. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The location is perfect for exploring Faro and the surrounding areas, just a short walk into the centre of the city, or the train station. Despite being so central and close to a great selection of restaurants, the apartment is quiet and feels very safe. The bedrooms are on separate floors, each with their own bathrooms, so perfect for friends or two couples, and the building itself is beautiful. The swimming pool area is clean and has seating around to enjoy on sunny days. There is a washing machine and a coffee machine available in the apartment, and smaller shops close by or a bigger supermarket in the Faro Municipal Mercado for any food and bits you need.

Pros: Great apartment. Clean & comfortable. Easy checkin with friendly staff who suggested amazing restaurants for us for dinner. We also managed to find parking on the street outside the apartment. Quiet location but only a short walk into the old town.

Cons: Nothing at all.
