Great apartment

Pros: Good location, great living room and master bedroom

Lovely spacious apartment with great views

Pros: The arrival was brilliant , we were collected from the airport and then met at the airport and talked through things like local restaurants etc. They were fantastic. The apartment is better than it looks on the photos. The outdoor areas were exceptional, the ocean view is better than it appears on the photos and the apartment was really well equipped and spacious. The area was quiet and lovely and close to the beach and beach bars, you could walk to vale de lobo. Top tip dunes beach bar amazing for brunch! Also you’ll need a car so look to hire one before you come. We didn’t but Renato at the apartment helped us and we were grateful for that. There are no supermarkets close by but the Uber service is brilliant. Lovely stay and aside from the aircon issue we were very happy and would definitely return to this apartment again and again

Cons: The air con didn’t work. We kept asking for it to be addressed but as we arrived on a Friday it was then the weekend and then we were out each day it was not until our sixth day that Renato came himself to sort it. He showed us to reset the electricity at the fuse box which worked so we could do this for the last two nights but did mean getting up two or three times through the night to reset the electrics to get the aircon working. As we had come from chilly England we struggled sleeping as it was so warm and stuffy for us without the aircon and it was a shame as everything else was excellent. We would definitely stay there again if we had assurance the aircon was fixed . As it was our sleep was really bad because of the warmth and we were really tired for the first six nights.. more tired than when we arrived which was not the objective obviously! I slept on the sofa one night to reduce body heat and overall temperature… and this was only April, temps of mid twenties.. it would be unbearable in the peak summer 🥵
