Monte Gerações - Heated pool - Typical Algarvian - close to Quinta Lago

Pros: The facility, the location, the heated pool warm enough for kids in early February, especially the owner, super nice. Will come back again.

Comfortable apartment with lovely pool, gorgeous setting and quiet. Few issues but overall great stay.

Pros: Amazing outdoor pool (heated to 33°c!), lovely private terrace on the roof and great kitchen facilities

Cons: Shower and kitchen tap took a long time to get hot and the room got very damp

Pros: Very clean, nice, comfortable apartement, really tastefully decorated, well heated. The swimming pool was hot enough for a comfortable use even in january. Location excellent. Very detailed description about check-in and check-out.

A good place to start our tour of Portugal loved having the benefit of a pool .

Pros: Lovely apartment which was very peaceful clean and well organised although we found the beds abit hard , Good parking , the pool was fantastic , lovely and warm and clean . We didn’t meet any of the staff but key access was straight forward . An information booklet with local recommendations in would be helpful . As we arrived very late , some milk and tea would have been nice and perhaps more than one coffee capsule for the machine . But these are small insignificant things . We enjoyed our stay

Cons: It was as expected you need a car ideally but other visitors were managing with Ubers .

Pros: Quiet, secure location. Walking distance to the local supermarket and restaurants.

A Portuguese Paradise Found!

Pros: We had a really great stay at this place. It’s in a beautiful, quiet spot surrounded by nature, but still close to the beach and nearby towns. The apartment was super clean, modern, and really nicely decorated — it felt very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed, with really good quality appliances. The heated pool was a big bonus — the water was always just right, no matter what the weather was like. There’s air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, and a TV, so everything you’d expect is there. The parking is covered and felt very safe, which was great. All in all, it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend it!

Cons: We used the sofa bed to sleep while the kids stayed in the main bedroom. The sofa bed is not very comfortable for two adults.

A wonderful stay and the owner was so accomodating. I couldn’t have faulted him! An excellent host.

Pros: The heated pool was the highlight. Lovely gardens and the pool is new and heated to over 30 degrees meaning you can swim in the evenings or colder months. We went in April over Easter and we wouldn’t have been able to swim every day in a pool that wasn’t heated. The accommodation is finished to a high standard. The bed was very comfy. Sofa bed is not huge so I wouldn’t say it’s suitable for older kids sharing or adults sharing but okay for 1 larger child or 2 below 10. The setting is beautiful, very peaceful and green. You need a car to drive anywhere but there are restaurants close by and beaches just a very short drive away.

Cons: Only the sofa bed was a little tight for our 10 and 8 year old, but they ‘top and tailed’ and were fine for 9 nights.

Pros: We loved everything. The heated pool was the highlight but the outdoor space generally, with its beautiful trees and wild flowers was really beautiful. The accomodation interior is really tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. We would love to visit again.

Cons: Nothing.

A very enjoyable stay.

Pros: The location was excellent and secure. A short walk into Almancil with its amenities. Around 10 minutes by car to the beaches. The host is very friendly. The accommodation is comfortable and cosy and has very good traditional character. The heated pool is a real bonus.

Delightful!

Pros: This is a lovely little complex which has been finished to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and the heated pool was lovely. I stayed in February and had no problems with heating the unit as there were two heaters. The host was very helpful with suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area.

Cons: Sometimes it took quite a while for the water to run hot from the taps.
