Old Fisherman's Corner 18 - Centro Old Town Albufeira

This is the second of the Old Fisherman’s cottages that we’ve stayed in. We’ll definitely be back!

Pros: It’s very equipped and in excellent condition. Lovely and clean and comfortable. The location is perfect . It’s close to the beach , restaurants etc but also very quiet.

Clean, quiet Oasis in a tourist hotspot

Pros: Host was great, lots of communication & helped with any questions. The place was clean, comfortable & had everything you need! Location is amazing, super close to beach & restaurants, but in a quiet area

Cons: No complaints, just note you can’t get a taxi/Uber to the door but they will drop you off nearby. Not an issue, just a note. Also - super touristy area, so be prepared for crowds.

Pros: Beautiful place, very modern inside, loved the little kitchen and the nobs, bathroom was just lovely, very clean, tidy, a lot of thought gone into the colour scheme, not far from the sea Fair price Just really loved it

Cons: We could not find it at first and were walking around till we asked friendly staff at Hotel Californya who got MAPS up for us, did try a few doors haha Also messaged the proprietor who advised were it was Many winding roads, it is the old town and renowned so to be honest we knew But when taxi driver drop us and said it was on the right that was it because it wasn't We loved it

Cons: Faltava um forno

I can’t think the manager enough for the mini way she helped me. Beautiful area.

Pros: Very well kept. Clean, spacious. Staff was extremely responsive.

Cons: I had a hard time finding the place. I never did figure out how to turn the hot water on in the shower. Could’ve definitely have been user error.

Struttura da migliorare ma consigliata!!

Pros: La posizione, appartamento vicinissimo alla spiaggia. Appartamento in un vicolo caratteristico molto carino. Piccolo ma dotato di tutto ciò che serve per un breve soggiorno.

Cons: Casa un po' umida e fredda specialmente nel periodo invernale, ma tenendo la pompa di calore sempre accesa si riesce a rimediare. Consiglio quindi di pulire più spesso i filtri della pompa di calore. Non ci sono quasi mai parcheggi disponibili vicini alla casa.

The owners were very accommodatingThe area was very nice.

Pros: the location was very close to the beach, restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Small apartment but it was furnished with most anything you would need.

Cons: the door key was difficult to turn but the owners came by and oiled it up which was helpful. parking was very difficult but that was explained before renting. Better to rent if you do not have a car.
